Working with couples, families and individuals

I work with individuals, couples and families across the family life cycle with a wide range of presenting problems. I work with children as young as five and adults dealing with old age and later life issues.

Some of the concerns that individuals, families and couples present with are:

  • Alcohol and drug problems and their impact on the couple and family relationships

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Children who are fostered or in care.

  • Communication difficulties and conflict in couples and families

  • Depression, anxiety and other mental health issues and its effects on the couple and family members

  • Developmental issues in children such as separation anxiety, sleep or feeding difficulties.

  • Eating disorders

  • Fertility and surrogacy issues

  • Infidelity and affairs

  • Internet addictions

  • Intimacy and sex

  • Intimate partner violence

  • Neurodiversity

  • Parenting issues

  • Physical illness in a child or adult within the family

  • Postnatal adjustment

  • Separation, divorce and blended families

  • Sexual and gender identity

  • The effect of relocation or unemployment on couple and family relationships
