In today’s rapidly changing world, therapists are working with increasingly diverse and complex relationships. This course explores innovative systematic tools to help clinicians support couples and families across cultural, relational, and societal differences.

Although contemporary relationships present unique challenges and dilemmas, they also provide an opportunity for creativity, adaptability, and systemic resilience. Bridging differences in cultural, national, religious, linguistic, and class backgrounds can foster and build systemic resilience. This innovative course will demonstrate the use of several visual and representational therapeutic tools which the participants can apply to their clinical practice.

Through clinical material, research insights, films, podcasts, and experiential exercises, participants will gain strategies to strengthen resilience in couples and family systems.
